Shopping days in London are never dull. In fact, these days are amazing!! The best shopping sprees so far for me were in London. The main stream shops are incredible, like Topshop, Urban outfitters, Whistles, All Saints etc. Not to mention the nice boutiques and great department stores. So when I have a few hours to kill in London I always go shopping! Not so good for the wallet, but ehhh, once in a while it is allowed.
We have a warm weekend ahead of us which means get your asses outside and into the sun! You peeps who are in London, take a Barclays bike and cycle to one of the amazing parks London has to offer for a picnic with your friends. Nothing makes me happier than enjoying the sun with my friends around me, laughing, drinking, eating and playing games.
Last weekend I went to the David Bailey exhibition in the National Portrait Gallery. Go check it out before June 1! The black and white portraits of this outstanding photographer and artist are amazing and a must see!
My first 4 weeks in London I lived in Balham, in a super nice little apartment with my friend I met on my first modeling trip to Tokyo. I loved living in this neighborhood in London. It was a village on its own, quite, nice houses, a park around the corner and a little city centre. But still with the tube I was in 20 minutes in London city.
I love to walk around in the streets of London, and especially in the streets of Shoreditch. That way I can discover the unknown, secret, but most of the time coolest places London has to offer. That’s how I discovered Paper & Cup.
Finally my search for the perfect backpack is over, I found one! At the Greenwich market in London.
Although these days there are multiple Conran Shops around the world. The Conran shop’s roots are in London, where the first Conran Shop was founded in the beautiful Michelin House building on Fulham Road.
Borough Market is one of my favorite food markets in London. I love it because besides shopping for your daily groceries, like veggies, bread and cheese, you can get the most amazing lunches and snacks there. There are some nice organic stalls to get lovely veggie curries. And another stand called ‘Free From’ with the best and ‘healthy’ banana bread with chocolate chips.
I was lucky to be in London while the Paul Smith exhibition was at the Design Museum. My love for Paul Smith started to grow since I saw his documentary a year ago.
I’m at the moment in ‘London Baby’ for work. Besides rushing from casting to casting, on my Nikes of course, I’m also looking for the most awesome coffee places, nicest restaurants, and best stores for you to visit, and of course for myself to hang around when I’m not busy working.
