Viskantine aan de Cool Rotterdam

There should be so much more at the watersides in Rotterdam. It is such a lovely place when you live in a busy city. Luckily, this year there opened another awesome spot at the waterside right behind, and from the same owners of, the De Machinist; Viskantine aan de Cool.

To be honest it does remind me a lot of A La Plancha. But hey, why not copy a perfect concept so that more people can enjoy a freshly made fish from the barbecue! Also this is a very popular place, so there is a big chance you have to wait for a table because they don’t take reservations. But while you wait you can hang in one of the comfy beach chairs.

The Viskantine is only open on sunny days, until the end of September. You can check the website for the opening days of the coming week.

So go over there on a sunny evening, enjoy the lovely waterside, the delicious fresh barbeque fish and a cold beer. For the non-fish fans they have some meat on the menu as well.
