I love pastels, oversized fit and sneakers. Combine these 3 things and you get my favorite winter outfit of the moment: oversized baby pink coat, minty green scarf, minty green/brown beanie, lilac bag and silver sneakers. To make make this outfit not so girly girly top it off with a screaming retro matte red lipstick.
I’m not really a heavy make-up person. Concealer, blush, some mascara (not even always) and lipstick is enough for me. And of course eyebrow gel, the one thing I always put on before I leave the house. Despite that I’m not really a make-up person I do am a big consumer of facial products; day/night crème, serums, eye crème/gels, cleansing milk, facial lotion, face mist… all you can imagine.
I always wanted to have my own little store. Preferably a little version of my favorite store ever: Merci, Paris. Where you can have your coffee and breakfast (have their soft boiled eggs in the used book café!) but also buy everything you want to have: clothes, jewelry, accessories, kitchen supplies, books, furniture, bikes and much more.
I got offered a job in the beginning of November, and I had to start the 1st of December. Yay But suddenly there was only less than a month left of my ‘free as a bird’ life. My best friend came visit me to celebrate my job offer. But we also realized that there were not gonna be spontaneous trips for us anymore. So we decided on that moment, this is our last chance: F*** IT, LET’S GO TO NEW YORK!! We booked a flight and a week later we were on our way!
Sorry guys, I havn’t been much around these days. It has been a crazy last two months for me. I started a new job and opened my own Pop Up store; busy but oh so exciting days. But I haven’t forgotten about you, and I still love blogging. I’m back again!!
For now Merry Christmas to everybody! Enjoy these great days with family, friends and lots of food.
As my new favorite place in Amsterdam is the Hallen, my goal is to try every restaurant and stand there. Halte 3 is the new Brasserie in the Hallen. It is not that big with the bar centered in the middle, which makes it seem like a pretty small place, but actually it has a lot of tables.
